Bridge or Wedge: How can Faith Heal our Divides

Has “religion” become a wedge in our society rather than a bridge to connect us? Can we use faith traditions to heal our divides?

On Monday October 3 at 12pm Eastern Time (9am Pacific), the Aspen Global Leadership Network will be hosting “Bridge or Wedge: How can Faith Heal our Divides”. Moderated by AGLN Vice President Dar Vanderbeck, the discussion will explore how faith traditions and spiritual teachings can offer frameworks to help get us “unstuck” from unhealthy conflict and polarization and ground our action in empathy and love. Adam Russell Taylor, President of Sojourners, and author of “A More Perfect Union: A New Vision for Building the Beloved Community” and Simran Jeet Singh, Executive Director, Aspen Institute Religion and Society Program, Author of “The Light We Give” will discuss ideas, tools, and practices that you can adopt to help foster a more connected society.
